And that’s end of chapter 5! It’s now 14 pages longer than it used to be.
If you’ve read the old chapter 6, then this scene will feel familiar, since it’s basically a redrawn version of a very similar scene we had in that chapter. I re-drew it instead of recycling old art because I had to fix some nonsensical worldbuilding. Fishing out jars of jam from a lake actually makes much more sense than having a marketplace in a town that nobody visits! (Imagine that!) This is also how I had originally imagined this town, but then changed it, for reasons I don’t remember anymore. Whatever those reasons were, they were BAD REASONS, so we’re back to the original version of this town.
